Collaborative partnership with MacLab

Our Mohua team have started a collaborative partnership with MacLab, who are supporting Tasman Bay Guardians with Litter Audits at Tōtaranui Beach and campground.

Scotty and Syd are going to be undertaking several rubbish audits along the stunning coast line of Tōtaranui, with funding from MacLab, who do rubbish audits on several other beaches in the Tasman Region as part of their commitment to improving the local environment.

Our team spent two hours walking the coastline and found 2 kgs of household rubbish! This monitoring is ongoing with bimonthly visits.

We are very excited to partner with MacLab, who are committed to sustainability, and reducing their carbon footprint as much as possible in our taiao spaces.
