The amazing team at Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park organised this fantastic community event, with many local organisations bringing their team along to help on the day. He mihi nui, a massive THANK YOU to the 200+ participants who showed up with aroha and energy for this beach clean-up at Tahunanui Beach this weekend!

Together, we picked up just over 700kg of paru (rubbish) including bottles, plastic, cans, styrofoam … and even a couch! We’re so proud of our hapori (community) for showing such manaakitanga (care and respect) for our beautiful takutai (coastline). Events like this show the power of kotahitanga, unity in action. Let’s continue to care for our moana and whenua, one cleanup at a time!
